Dumitru Borţun
He is doctor in philosophy and he has published over 70 studies, articles, essays, and debate contributions, in local and national press, specialized magazines, cultural magazines and collective volumes. He is the author of several university courses and books.
Starting with 1974, he held more than 100 communications during local, national and international scientific manifestations. After 1989, he held many lectures and trainings for communication professionals.
During 1996-2000, he was Public Relations Manager for the social research company Data Media SRL. He was PR consultant for the Ministry of Public Finance, the Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs. In 2000 he coordinated the Analysis Department inside the electoral staff of Mugur Isarescu, independent candidate running in the Romanian Presidential elections.
He worked as trainer for several companies and organizations in Romania and abroad. Starting with 1995, he is the founding member of the Romanian Association of Public Relations Professionals (ARRP), holding, for ten years, the Vicepresident position. In 2005, he was reelected as ARRP President.
