Viktor Szigetvári
He began to work for the MSZP (Hungarian Socialist Party) in 2001 by the side of Ferenc Baja directing the electoral campaign of the party. Later he took part in founding the European Union Communications Public Foundation and then as the colleague of Ferenc Gyurcsány (then the chief advisor to the PM), he was advisor to Péter Medgyessy Prime Minister. From the summer of 2003 he headed the minister's secretariat at the Ministry of Children, Youth and Sports, and starting from August he was press chief there. In June 2004 he was appointed PM's director of communications and manager of government advertisements as the under-secretary of state of the Public Relations Secretariat of the Prime Minister's Office. Following the appointment of PM Ferenc Gyurcsány he held the same position until May 2005. Then until the end of 2006 he led the electoral preparations as national campaign director of the MSZP first for the successful Parliamentary elections and later for the municipal elections campaigns. His work involved the supervision of work in the local organisations, leading the central organisation of the party and the development and implementation of the party's advertisement, event organisation and GOTV strategy. In March 2007 he founded his private public affairs, political and communication consultancy firm.
